A wolf struggling against the wind and cold gives up.
She lays down, curles up into a ball, and puts one paw over her muzzel.
The lone wolf falls into a deep sleep she may never wake from; one she longs never to wake from.
In her dream she runs almost flying across the endless forest floor.
At her side is her lost companion, the only one in the world to her.
They soar over the fields of long grass together once again.
Then as she is tossed from her paridise of a dream as she hears the blast of a human's gun. She goes almost completely numb but still has enough streingth to howl once more to the wind as her spirit leaves this world.
She's with her love at last.
I'll love you forever
And I shall never forget you Grace wolf.
